Abstract:

Part of a series, this guide offers help and ideas for setting up and running a singing group for people with lung-related illnesses. Using information from case studies and research projects, and links to further resources and training, this guide provides an overview of the evidence that group singing can be beneficial for respiratory health and wellbeing. The guide draws upon the experience of COPD patients in a number of well-established community singing for COPD groups as well as musicians with considerable experience of running such groups.
