Abstract:
This report reviews 64 arts for health projects across the UK. Projects included 34 in community settings, 13 in community-based health setting, 14 in hospitals and 5 in care settings. The report concludes that while many projects undertook evaluation, they were ‘struggling to find appropriate methods’ and evaluations were frequently ‘inadequate’. A further striking findings was that while projects were addressing health and wellbeing, few had an explicit aim to improve health.
