Sing Ireland and Creative Ageing International have come together, with support from The Creative Ireland Programme, to create a range of resources that will encourage and explore singing into older age. Each of their guidebooks provides information, expert advice, recommendations, case studies and resources to assist with the process of setting up and running a singing group for older people. This first guidebook in the series focuses on the voice as an instrument, and explores:

• What happens as we age?
• How can we maintain and sustain our voices?
• What happens if we do?
