Abstract:

This evaluation report by Cupore (Centre for Cultural Policy Research) examines the implementation of the expansion of the Percent for Art scheme on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health. This 190 page report includes an English summary on pages 10-13.

The key project for culture inscribed in the Government programme ”Finland, a land of solutions” from 2015 aims to make culture a part of children’s everyday lives, to enhance the creativity of children and young people and to improve the accessibility of arts and culture. One of the measures defined in the project was to expand the percent-for-art principle in cooperation with the social welfare and healthcare sector.
