Arts education is often said to be a means of developing critical and creative thinking. This OECD report examines the state of empirical knowledge about the impact of arts education on these kinds of outcomes.The art forms covered are Multi-Arts, Music, Theatre, Visual Arts and Dance and the issues of cognitve, creativity, motivational, social and brain outcomes are addressed.
