Abstract:
Updating the 2004 review on arts in health research for the Arts Council, this report considers 103 studies on the effect of music interventions on psychological and physiological outcomes of patients in a hospital environment under the following headings: maternity, neonatal and intensive care, children, cardiovascular conditions, surgery and pain management, lung disease and oncology.
