Abstract:
This report recognises that there are few models of practice on how mental health recovery can be promoted through participation in the arts. ‘Arts on Prescription’ is a weekly workshop programme delivered in four sites in Nottingham.
Following a literature review, the report considers interviews and two case studies exploring the experiences of people who engaged on the programme. It reports on the many benefits mental health services users found through participation.
