Abstract:
The Circle of Care (CC) framework and programme of courses aim to help health professionals to think about and demonstrate compassionate care for themselves, colleagues, patients and carers. It was developed by Performing Medicine and Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust (GSTT), as part of a three year project, using arts based methods in the training of healthcare professionals.
This final report is intended to inform future strategy for Circle of Care and the partnership between Performing Medicine and GSTT, and offers recommendations for the roll out of this framework.
