Abstract:
The 2019 Director of Public Health’s Report aims to demonstrate the evidence of the positive impact that the arts, culture and heritage has on the population; provide examples of where this is working; and further the argument to continue providing support.
With reference to the growing body of national and international research into arts and health, it sets out the vision and goals of Northumberland County Council’s cultural strategy, ‘Our Creative Landscape’. Case studies and detailed references are included in each chapter of the report:
