Abstract:
This handbook is designed to help people lead movement sessions with older people in a range of settings. This pack is intended to be used by health professionals, activity coordinators and care staff and is the starting point for developing basic movement and dance activities with older people. It includes icebreakers, warm-ups, creative dancing, cool-downs, tips and further resources. It also has links to some further resources.
Jenny Edwards is a community dance artist who specialises in inclusive practice in early years, disabled and older communities, and enjoys engaging with community groups through workshops, skills development and performance opportunities.
