Abstract:
This project aimed to assess the feasibility of an arts-based intervention to improve health and wellbeing of children and young people in Lambeth aged 11-18.
Following a literature review (which found that creative activities can be effective in educating young people, boosting their confidence and social engagement), a stakeholder consultation was held to determine the interest in arts-based approaches to health,
A mapping exercise of current arts and health initiatives in Lambeth found a variety of creative arts activities are available for young people in Lambeth. The action plan noted objectives for phase two.
