Abstract:
Originally inspired by Venezuela’s El Sistema, In Harmony Liverpool uses orchestral music making to improve the health, education and aspirations of children and young people in Everton. This report evidences the progress made in little more than a year in developing a cohesive early years curriculum that follows the principles of In Harmony but applies them to the Early Years Foundation Stage in preparation for progression to Key Stage 1 and primary education.
