Abstract:
Originally inspired by Venezuela’s El Sistema, In Harmony Liverpool uses orchestral musicmaking to improve the health, education and aspirations of children and young people in Everton. As In Harmony Liverpool enters its seventh year of operation in Everton, Liverpool, this report is a summary of the impact evaluation data gathered in its sixth year. It focuses on the educational attainment, progression and wellbeing of the children and young people, the attendance and reach of the programme, and the impact of In Harmony in the Everton community.
As part of the development of the ongoing evaluation process, In Harmony has published two reports per year since 2015. This document is a short data summary report which relates to the academic year and seeks to maintain the data sets and ensure that the evaluation continues to inform the management of the programme.
