Abstract:

MARCH Network is a national network funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) focusing on social, cultural and community assets – which include the arts and culture – and the role they play in enhancing public mental health and wellbeing, preventing mental illness, and supporting those living with mental health conditions. The MARCH Network proposes that these assets build resilient communities and therefore lie at the heart of mental health.

In 2020 the MARCH Network has 1657 members, 225 early career researchers, they published 36 research papers, had 171,000 participants in MARCH research, produced 22 newsletters, 360 policy updates and opportunities shared and invested £280,000 in 15 research projects.
