Abstract:
This report describes an ambitiouus project that aimed to make music and singing part of everyday creative life for all families on the Isle of Wight with children under 5 years. It used music and singing to promote children’s personal learning and development. Just under two thirds of respondents reported that the project information pack helped them to sing and make music with their children more than without it, and that three quarters of practitioners reported more music making and singing in early years settings following the training provided.
