Abstract:
Why do the arts and culture matter? What difference do they make and how do we know what difference they make? This report presents the outcomes of the Cultural Value Project, which has two main objectives: identify the various components that make up cultural value; and develop the methodologies and evidence that might be used to evaluate these components of cultural value.
Some 70 original pieces of work collectively make up the Cultural Value Project – a mixture of new research, critical reviews of the literature and specialist workshops.
