Abstract:
The Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act (2015) is about improving the social, economic, environmental and cultural well-being of Wales, via seven specific well-being goals.
This report documents how, in order to respond to The Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act (2015) and its seven well-being goals, six Welsh museums teamed up with the Happy Museum project. The key aims of this collaboration were: to deepen their understanding of the Act; to review the ways in which they were already responding to the goals; and to plan new activities and ways of working that would take their response to the next level.
The key aims of this collaboration were: to deepen their understanding of the Act; to review the ways in which they were already responding to the goals; and to plan new activities and ways of working that would take their response to the next level. This project was led by Monmouthshire Museums Service and supported by the Welsh Government through an accreditation support grant from the Federation of Museums and Art Galleries of Wales. The other participant museums are: Cardiff Story Museum, Ceredigion Museum, Oriel Môn, Storiel and Wrexham Museum.
